wouldn't it be nice?

when you are young, your parent means a whole world to you. when you're first lost at a shopping mall, you'll cry your guts out so that your daddy or mummy can hear your cry and run towards you and hug you and comfort you.

when you grow up, you see parents as annoying adults who are control freaks and will show no mercy to those are disobedient. you grow up thinking that you can jolly well live without them and can even wish for them to *POOF* disappear for good.

or in another scenario where everyday you are just so caught up with your life, you spend most of your day outside the house, and when you are back home, you'll just coop yourself in your room with your computer, neglecting your parent.

but lets say you open yourself up to your parent? you tell them every little things going on in your life, the things you're going through, the difficultities in your life. and wouldn't it be nice if you have parent who understands the pain, the frustrations and everything that a teenager goes thru. and when they do, they show love towards you and offers that unconditional love specially all for you.

not referring to scoldings and punishments.

wouldn't it be nice if your parent could just sit at your bedside, listening to everything bit you are going thru now and offers you that tight hug and a shoulder to cry on so that you need not spend a rough night in your dark and cold bedroom on your own?

wouldn't it be nice if your parent could take time off, ignoring the tv or housework just to spend quality time joking around with you and take you out for a walk about?

hard to imagine right? but i tell you, all parents are willing to even die for you. wouldn't it be nice?
as in, not refering them to die.

don't think so much. you know what i mean. =)
